GERS addresses these reporting requirements. It provides HTML-based event reporting for each managed customer. You can classify customers using IP address ranges, host naming conventions, and DNS domain names. This classification dramatically reduces the overhead of maintaining the scope of nodes for each managed customer.
You can generate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports for:
- The total events for each severity and category combination
- TopN Hosts
- TopN Events
- TopN most critical hosts
GERS works with both Solid and Oracle databases in single- or multiple-NNM system deployments. Its drill-down capability takes you directly to the event details of the node or event category of interest.
